I love so many moments about Delaney and Ryan’s Apple Orchard Engagement Session!!  I love that they chose to have it at the same location Ryan proposed at. I believe that engagement sessions should be special and incorporate a location that has a special place in a couples heart.  I loved that they were 100% okay with slow dancing in an apple orchard. I fall in love with these two over and over again everytime I look at their photos.

From the moment Ryan stepped into the orchard he picked up Delaney and twirled her around. They are so playful!  I love the forehead kisses he kept sneaking in.  His sweet nose kisses he did all on his own, just because he could.  I love how easily they laugh together, and how Ryan delicately runs his fingers through her hair. Love is just easy for them, it’s like a story out of a Nicholas Spark book!

I met Delaney while photographing a wedding at The Barns of Kanak. Delaney is one of the event coordinators at this stunning venue. When she contacted me about photographing their wedding I knew it would be beautiful and well organized! Delaney and Ryan will be saying “I do” at The John Marshall Ballrooms. This location means I get to take their portraits at my favorite location the Virginia State Capitol!
