If you have daughters then you know how much fun it is to play dress up! I have so many ideas that I want to photograph with my two girls. They inspire me everyday! Here in Virginia we have a beautiful and magical Pecan Grove at The College of William and Mary. Last summer my best friend got married out in the grove and it was stunning! She hung this large glass window covered in pink florals from one of the large trees. It was one of the prettiest ceremony sites I have seen. This day got my wheels turning! So I set out to build a large circular swing to cover in pink and white flowers. I knew that these beautiful girls would love to play dress up and swing from this gorgeous piece! It was not an easy or cheap task to make this swing! All the hard work was well worth it! I photographed my girls at sunset along with a friend and her daughter. Our session was cut so short due to rain. I had about a 15 minute window for Sarah and her daughter before the sky turned black and the thunder started to roar! My luck with the rain this year has been very stressful. With such a short time frame I still think we nailed it!
I will be shooting two evenings of summer minis with this swing and I can not wait to see all the sweet little girls in their dresses! Send me a message if your interested in joining us!
